WINTER, Connie Jo, 57, of Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. She was born October 24, 1958 in Fond du Lac, WI to James and Madelyn (Baker) Carroll. She graduated from Cameron High School in Cameron, MO and also from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.
Connie married Ronald Winter on May 23, 1980 in Springfield, MO and was married for 36 years. She has been a missionary to Mexico since 1987.
Connie enjoyed her family, singing to the Lord and teaching children about Jesus. She was a true helpmeet to her husband and a loving memaw to ten grandbabies. Connie was a blessing to all who knew her.
Connie is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Carroll. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Winter of the home; her parents, James and Madelyn Carroll; children, Seth (Ashley) Winter, Andrew (Shana) Winter, Joshua (Kristin) Winter, and Bethany (Kyle) Martin; grandchildren, Hannah Winter, Julia Winter, Ella Winter, Caleb Winter, Gary Martin, Khloe Winter, Kade Winter, Josie Winter, Elijah Winter, and Clark Martin; brother, Roy Carroll; sister, Cindy Baucum (Ken); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 10AM-12PM, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church, 115 N. Young Street, Stillwater, OK. Funeral service was at 2:00 P.M. at Bible Baptist Church. Graveside service followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, OK.
